Ingredients
- 6 apples (firm, peeled)
- 120 g sugarSubstitute: caster sugar or light brown sugar

Instructions

- Caramelize sugar and butter in an oven-safe pan.
- Arrange apples; cover with pastry, tucking edges.

- Rest 5 min, invert onto plate.
Use firm apples that hold shape. If the caramel looks too dark before baking, lower the heat immediately.
